Doesn't it always seem like the weekend is the craziest part of the week? Well this last one was no exception. Saturday was the day of the big primary activity to gear up for the even bigger primary program in Sacrament meeting on Sunday. The kids did a dry run through while leaders and teachers twitched nervously in the background! I took Michael, armed with his talk about how he wants to be like Nephi, and Drew took the other boys to the park, armed with the camera. Fun was had by all. Don't they look like they like each other?

Zach is starting to get tired of all the pictures and wants to play hide-and-seek, but he is trying to be a good sport!

"Can we go play now?"

Okay I think picture time is over!

Cornbellies

We took a trip with the cousins to Cornbellies at Thanksgiving Point Yesterday. They got to pick thier own pumpkins (which I forgot to snap pics of). There were so many toys and slide to play on that by the end of the trip they were all so beat and sunburned (I forgot that too!) that they slept the whole drive home and in Daniel's case a lot longer than that! A quick pic on the way into the park. Don't they all look like little angels...

Zack in his natural habitat! Where did his feet go?

Here they are riding the tractor that looks like a long chain of cows biting each other's tails! We're in the country now.

Now this one took me a minute to figure out... It's a sandbox filled with corn! Who came up with that one? The boys were dumping kernels out of their shoes the rest of the afternoon. They loved it though. I had to lure them out with fruit roll ups.

Somebody's up to something!

He was trying to smile for the camera, but the sun was in his eyes so he couldn't find me!

Aww! Fer cute! Am I boring you with photos yet?

Birthday Boy

Michael has been asking for weeks how many days were left until his birthday. So, you can imagine the excitement when the day finally came. He's my big 5 year old now (sniffle). I have to admit feeling mixed emotions about that. On the one hand, he's getting to that independant age where Mommy doesn't need to help as much... and on the other hand, he's getting to that independant age where Mommy doesn't need to help as much! The big hit of the day was the Hot Wheels Stunt track from Grandma and Grandpa Goostrey. He had a hard time putting it down for bed.

So I can do a few domestic things. Looking up an easy cake to make on the internet is one of them!

What you can't see in this picture is the mass of little fingers that attacked the cake as soon as the candles went out. It was like a tornado of hot wheels, candles, and frosting!

Park City Adventures

We took a trip to Park City a few weeks ago for some much needed family time.Wow, the vacation has just started and Mom already looks tired!

We headed out for some hiking and letterboxing.

Here we are at the park and Daniel is trying to keep up with the big boys.

Michael is definately our little dare devil!

I think they had fun! Did I mention there was cable, so Drew got his college football fix?!

I think the boys had the most fun on the hide-a-bed in the hotel. They had a few late night giggle and jumping sessions. (remember how tired Mom looked?)

The Baby Blogger

Okay, here goes, my first post on our new blog, and I have only called Drew at work 2 times so far! We had an old blog that Drew was "keeping up with" (the last post was a year ago) so I decided it was time to start fresh and learn how to do this myself. Since I have no computer skills, this could be interesting! The passed couple months have been busy and fun, complete with lots of photo opportunities so this weekend I'm gonna figure out his whole blogging world and show off my cute boys at the same time!
This was our first letterboxing experience. Cute shot Amy!
